After centuries of grazing, felling and charring, as well as the most recent urban and transport infrastructure expansion, many of the forests that once existed in the Community of Madrid have disappeared or have deteriorated considerably. This damages the fauna, diminishes the diversity of plant species, leaves the soil unprotected against erosion, affects the local climate and diminishes our water reserves. 

To contribute to the mitigation of these impacts, at Larrauri & Martí, we have left the office for one day to devote a day to planting and sowing the area from Colada de Manzanares el Real to El Boalo. All with the help and guidance of the Reforesta Association.

We are proud to have been able to put our grain of sand in the recovery of the ecosystem of our sierra.
